The bay of Cabo San Lucas at the southern tip of Baja, was once a base for pirate ships waiting to pounce on Spanish treasure ships. Even fifteen years ago, was a little more than a fishing village and cannery occasionally visited by fishermen sporting adventure with the means to sail or fly, but quickly earned the reputation of the needle which could be captured, and periods of calm is inundated with fishermen in search of El Marlin Azul, home to the elegant, the radar-equipped fishing boats.
